Oxford, England...for those of you who are not familiar, is the academic capital of the world. It only seems fitting that a smart-ass like me would end up there. I came to England on a Study Abroad in 2001 and haven't been able to mentally depart since.

Animal Rights Activists Take Over Oxford!

There is an animal testing lab connected with Oxford University to be possibly built in Summertown. But, that does not sit well with animal rights activists. Ever hear of viviation? Me neither. About 500-600 of them carrying blowhorns, speakers and all sorts of funny signs gathered near the St. Giles Cemetery to spread the peace. It's so awkward to see modern protests next to historical 14th century buildings. Frankly, it's quite offputting.
